The Helix pricing is insane, at least over here.

My ideal/ perfect machine would be MacBook Air + Surface Pro / Samsung ATIV/ Helix hybrid.
MacBook Air Ultrabook + Retina
- 13.3 " Retina - Crisp (Pref Non Glossy) - Not too small like 10/12 inch models
- Light
- Slim
- Long Battery Life of the
Surface Pro
- Touch + Wacom Pen
ATIV/ Helix
- Detachable & Attachable from Base/ Keyboard
I'd say the IDEAL Size Changes from person to person but if it could be KEPT LIGHT & SLIM..
12-14" would be great size.

Retina & High res Display, Tablets, Laptops, Cost, Manufacturers and Modding
Using an iPad-sized, Retina-like display as a high-res PC monitor http://ow.ly/kq5We
This fellow bought a retina LCD/LED replacement for $55.
1 -If the prices of making Retina screens are not so high then why arent more manufacturers offering them? At least as options? Why are they still shilling 1366x768 machines?
2 - I am wondering if its possible to find cheap 13.x " Retina Displace LCD/ LED replacements from the Retina MBP Pro and mod them into other 13/ 14" frames/ laptops?
Thoughts?
