Forum Time stamp?
Forum Time stamp?
I don't know if this is changeable..but I have noticed that the time-stamps in this forum are nearly 10 minutes ahead of the official time. Anyone else notice this?
Re: Forum Time stamp?
It's because this forum is located in a black hole where the time warps. And by the way Bill is an alien, who sells ThinkPads to support the upcoming invasion of the extraterrestrials.JeffNT326 wrote:I don't know if this is changeable..but I have noticed that the time-stamps in this forum are nearly 10 minutes ahead of the official time. heh, heh..
i've been called eccentric, but 10 minutes out of sync is something even einstein was not able to accomplish..
but i DID notice it and lest the fabric of the universe rupture this anomoly must be realigned..
i'll see if the reticulated frammiscam can be adjusted..

Listen sunshine, I am not aware of ANY UNO getting anywhere near 88mph (about 140 Klms/hour in litres) let alone living in a space time condominium. As for the giggle watts and all the yellow lions that stopped me parking in London...
My time stamp is 10 minutes out simply because I'm 23 hours and 50 minutes BEHIND eveyone else in the world (You would be too if you drove an UNO)

the time anomoly has been readjusted..
so all time travellers (the unwillingly temporally displaced) can rest easy..
while i twisted the frammiscam all 5 directions (this must be done in a klein bottle) the mobieus surface remained stubbornly in the same frame.
HOWEVER, i found that the reticulated copper-ptus (the lower and smaller one) needed to be realigned with the upper non-reticulated copperoptus, which has been done.
this is easy since all one needs to do is flick one or the other and they jump into realignment 8 minutes before you get there to flick, tuhs all that is required is to THINK "I need to flick the copperoptus" and it is done..
all further discussion, being 8 minuted out of temporal sync has now been written.. no mention of the brassoptus need be made.

Is the time stamp off again? It's 2:03AM here, my time zone is set to GMT - 5 hours, and everything appears to be posting 2 hours earlier.

Answered in order. Of course, everybody knows a man and a woman can't be just friends! No. Yes and no, but not to each other. No and no. Don't need any help working things out, I can get in quite enough trouble all by my lonesome and often do.G-Man wrote:Is there some kind of (sexual) tension here between you guys (Nonny, James)? Flying UNOs!
There's no difficulty in getting your UNO up to 88MPH.ian wrote:Listen sunshine, I am not aware of ANY UNO getting anywhere near 88mph (about 140 Klms/hour in litres)
I'll just put it in here: http://www.airvictorymuseum.org/html/rh ... llion.html take it up to 10K feet AGL and push it out!
I guarantee it will hit at LEAST 88MPH!
Regards,
James

Sorry Ian, forgot the smiley! I wouldn't bend your beloved UNO on purpose, I felt the same way about my Steyr-Puch!ian wrote:Hey - what have I done? I've restained myself from commenting on the exchange between yourself and Nonny - I've been good ! And I've not even threatened you with posting a picture of the beloved beast...yet
Of course, that was a FIAT that COULD go more than 88MPH, LOTs more!

James

REALLY off topic...
I think this story needs to be told...
My late wife had taken our two children to a friends house at the other side of our small rural village. I had been working and upon my return home I noticed some bits and pieces she had forgotten to take with her so I loaded them into my Nissan and set off.
Upon arriving at the friends house, my wife realised she had left these items behind, turned the UNO (Blue) around and set off back home.
We met, in a scream of brakes, smoking tyres and bent fenders in the middle of a small bridge, too narrow for two cars to pass, and in the middle of an 'S' bend...
No-one was injured, and we drove both cars home, later to be informed by the insurance company that they were both write-offs.
When I called the insurance agent to explain what had happened, she didn't laugh - there was a slight pause, then, "Mr Grandjean, here in France we usually throw plates"
