600x acting up once again

#1 Post by kingman99 » Mon May 24, 2010 9:44 am

Hi

I became so frustrated with the freezing that l took my orig CD for wind 2000 Pro and inserted it into my cd slot and let it run.
When it was finished it ran like new with AOL 9.0VR and l was able to receive e-mails but l was no longer able to get on the internet and this made no sense to me at all.

How can l erase everything and start all over again. By the way for a while all it was doing was loading updates like close to 90 updates.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Alan

1) Boot a Linux or rescue CD.
2) Delete all partitions on the hard drive.
3) Boot your W2K CD and install. Lenovo still has great resources on installing W2K on your ThinkPad.
