9 Cell battery size 14"

Does anyone know if the 9 cell battery on the Edge 14 extends out from the back of the machine?

Hey i actually don't have the extended battery, but i saw a review and it did stick out a little i'd say at least an inch and a half. It didn't look out of place in my opinion. If that was your concern.
