I have a ThinkPad edge 13, AMD.
I have installed Rescue and Recovery 4.3.
I have made a backup without any problem.
But, there is a problem when I try to make a boot-able USB.
Every time I got a error message.

I forgot.. I have cleaned the system and software that has come on Edge. I have installed a Windows 7 professional ,
drivers and Rescue and Recovery 4.3.

One more question, how to use the camera?
I have installed a driver but I couldn't find how to start the camera.

Thanks

I don't understand what you are trying to do....put the recovery images on a USB stick and make it bootable? I don't think it's possible, and if it is the major challenge would be disc selection because they install in order. Most people have a DVD or two and a CD. You need an application running that calls for the camera...like Skype.

I have made a system's backup (Rescue and Recovery 4.3). It has been saved on my laptop's hard disc.
Rescue and Recovery tool offer an option for making a bootable USB key.
Purpose of USB isn't for keeping backup. It only offers booting and restoring backup (in case of damage on my Windows 7).

I hope I explained the situation.

Thank you for helping.

Rescue and Recovery offer possibility called Create Rescue Media.

After starting Creating Rescue Media, you can Select a Rescue medium.
It can be CDs/DVDs, but my Edge 13 doesn't have it.
So, I choose USB External Storage Device.

After starting, I get a message:
An internal error has caused this process to fail

I thought it is due to anti-virus program, but didn't.
I use Microsoft Security Essentials.

Do you know what is a real reason?

Unfortunately I don't understand how to work the super backup options from the link above.
I have installed that program.
When I see installing instructions, I can't do 1.
because Rescue and Recovery is not in Program files than in Program files (x86).

1. Type the following commands to start the Sysprepbackup process using administrative privileges:
cd "\Program Files\Lenovo\Rescue and Recovery" rrcmd sysprepbackup location=U name="sysprep backup"
The "...run sysprep now..." message displays.

I can do 2.and 3. but I don't understand 4.

4.When the Sysprep process is completed, run the msi file that you downloaded using administrative privileges. Wait until the package is successfully installed.

I don't know which msi file.

Restart your system. Then, it will automatically boot to the PDA to continue with the Sysprepbackup process on the USB hard disk drive.

Is that mean that backup will be saved on USB?
I only want to have bootable USB.

I am confused :help:
