Red dot on back

#1 Post by krissto » Tue Dec 13, 2011 4:30 pm

Hi, I have noticed today, that my red dot on ThinkPad logo shines very week. Only during restart its light is strong. Afert that it is so poor, that I can see it only in very dark room. What is the reason? Is it possible some aplication can affect on diode strenght?

My guess is it does that to save battery power.

i THINK there is a place to set the red dot intensity or turn it off entirely..

later i'll look and see if i can find that setting..

To be honest, I never even thought about it. My tablet is either docked, in my hand or in the folio. I hardly ever look at the back of it.
