ThinkPad T460 refuses to stay on after power button is pressed

I bought a ThinkPad T460 around 2 months ago and recently after the battery went flat, and I had charged it with my college's universal chargers (which I've used before with no issues) The Laptop refused to power on (shows a green light on the power light for one second and switches off) I've tried all the basic steps (Disconnecting all three batteries and running it off AC, pressing the reset switch on the MB multiple times) I have even gone as far as to remove the motherboard from the enclosure, yet it still suffers the same symptom, everything on the motherboard seems to be fine, so I have no idea why it won't turn on.
