Black Button (thinkvantage) to toggle TPfancontrol

Running a T430 with eGPU and WIN10 for Solidworks and games.
I was wondering if anyone has been able to use the "Black Button" (thinkvantage) to act as a toggle for TPfancontrol, a bit like a fan boost button on modern gaming laptops.
I can easily just use ctrl-shift-b and ctrl-shift-m to switch between fan settings but would like to use the black button, for some vain reason.
I'm not even sure if its wired in the T430, as its lost its blue hue and label.
