Dear community,
I am puzzled by apparently contradictory information. I am looking to flash the BIOS of my L530 (which is now bricked), but I couldn´t find which exactly is supposed to be the actual BIOS chip. The two possibile options I have collected are:
1. the Winbond w25q64bv (SPI1 on the board) which is compatible to the SOP8 clip shown here
2. the PS064 (U8001 on the board) which is much smaller than a SOP8 shown here
Here, where the replacement is listed, I am not able to tell them apart .
I have tried to dump the winbond in option 1 without success and I am trying to figure out what happened.
Take a look at our
