I always use windows for connecting to WIFI. Recently Access Connections took over my WIFI connection and I cant take it away. I haven't tried uninstalling because I am afraid of the consequences. When I tell Windows to "Use windows to connect" it doesn't manage to find any wireless networks so I am forced to use Access Connections.
Help anyone?
Thanks

Re: Access Connections is screwing with me
hi there
I know your frustration. I never use AC and uninstall any TP I have got. I ONLY USE THESE:
POWER MANAGER
HOT KEY
ACTIVE PROTECTION (air bag) (home laptops I remove only use these for travelling ones)
SYSTEM UPDATE - just to check for new drivers etc
Anything else ( everything else from lenovo apps) I remove;
as ONE SUCH apps - I found had been 'checking' constantly my hardware and reporting to lenovo....why would a Chinese Company need to know what I got !! .....

Re: Access Connections is screwing with me
I am inclined to do that, but I am afraid, since windows at the moment seems not to be able to detect wifi, that if i delete AV ill be screwed

Re: Access Connections is screwing with me
You won't damage anything if you just uninstall it.
Windows will then take over again.
If you're not happy with what Windows does, you can always reinstall AC.
