Holy Jeebus! How in the world did you find these?

He has multiple thinkpads in the pics too. I think I see:

1. 600* in pic 7 - the docking station in the back identifies this

2. Either a T30 or R40 (not 100% sure since they had trackpads)) in pic 3 and 4 where he is posing in front of the car - the notch in the side helps identify this, and as far as I know X3*, T30, A31p and R40 all had this notch, and the machine is defintely not a 12" or 15".

3. Pic 5 where he squeezes the tomato seems to be a X2* machine - looking at the wide LCD bezel

Who can identify all thinkpads in these pics? ... Ray, Ed, Erik, George can you please jump in? :D

#3 (cutting board) and #5 (tomato sauce maker) appear to be the same system. But not an X2 since there's an Ultrabay visible on the side and a pair of speaker grilles below the front edge. Could be a T2x system but then again, the spacing between the grilles is too small (looking at several T23s at my feet). The width of the LCD bezel could be explained if it's a 13.3" XGA model.

The umbrella (#7) does look like a 600 system but I'm having a hard time seeing a speaker in the right corner of the palmrest. Everything along the back and right side is what you would find on a 600. If there was a better shot of the audio jacks then at least we would be able to determine if it's a 600X or not.

I think Steve better take a look at these images. He's probably better equipped to identify them with his collection.

R40e perhaps? It'd explain the perceived lack of trackpoint and it seems that the bottom notch is present because the line of the LCD isn't straight the whole way from the top to where it meets the base.

BTW, I was wondering: can we do the things that are in the pic, without the risk of our Thinkpads start malfunctioning?

(especially the last pic...) :?

It's an R30 or R31. The R40 has a beveled palm rest.

The umbrella computer is a 600 or 600E. If you look really close, you can kinda see an outline for speaker on the wristpad. If you look carefuly at the side you can see there's only two audio jacks.

Well, he appears to be from Minnesota... which I guess explains a lot :) . I wonder if he is using laptops issued by the school.

(Note: Apologies to our good friends up in Southern Canada!)

Guys, come on. This is not about fake or not fake, working or non-working. It's about humor.
