In a fit of irony, I changed the entire shell right after posting those. I then installed 256MB RAM, but it's never going to run LabVIEW D:

It's blackbox, using the standard theme that came with it. I still use the Elegant widgets.

Theme is "Windows Clasic" on Win XP.DComander1 wrote:whats the theme, wallpaper, and icons Ralf Hutter?
Wallpaper is from here.
Icons are a bunch of stuff I've found over the years. Some are prefixed with "NeXT", others "OPENSTEP_EUI", others I'm clueless about. You want any of them, let me know your email address and I'll send 'em to you in a zip file.

Estrogen: Yes I do use a variant of bb4win (bblean) and it's awesome.
But it doesn't compare to your desktop. Holy [censored].
I assume Litestep had a part in that. But that can't be all there is to it.
What kind of resources does it use?

That's GeoShell using the [noir] theme.
I tried Emerge and it's awesome, but I am currently more than happy with GeoShell.

yup that is litestep. I'm currently using the AMANA suite, which includes most things in that screenshot like winamp, miranda IM, litestep, shutdown dialog, icons, wallpapers, and visual style. The window borders and explorer tweaks are by me.zmjjmz wrote:Estrogen: Yes I do use a variant of bb4win (bblean) and it's awesome.

Re: Post your desktop.
I just use regular Window XP explorer... with a classic theme though for less resource consumption, and in my opinion, a more attractive look & feel.

@Fox: Fractal Tetris? Doesn't that get infinite after a while?
I'll post a screenshot of my 640x480x4 IBM Thinkpad 560 when I get the chance -- it isn't pretty.

actually fractal tetris is a lot less interesting than it sounds. it's just regular tetris but with fractals as background. fun though. also apparently programmed in Python.zmjjmz wrote:@Fox: Fractal Tetris? Doesn't that get infinite after a while?

at least 640x480 won't stretch my page at all.

Re: Post your desktop.
is it capable? SVGA screens are the worst in linux, cause it's hard to find the right drivers to get them past the minimal VGA 16 color screen resolution, and they aren't hi-res enough to work without selecting drivers. at least that was my experience with them. XGA is worlds better for everything.zmjjmz wrote: I hope to get it to 800x600. xvesa just doesn't cut it...
