Hi, im propably going to buy R400 one, but i cant find any good review about this model. Can you share your opinion about it ? Is it worth to buy, how is it made etc ? I'm from Poland and for now there arent any r400 with LED. I found somewhere that display is a little bit too dim, so i wonder if any here have r400 with standard highlighting and could say sth about it. Thanks for answers.

Hi, I've got a refurbished R400 since July, and so far it's been great.

Physically, it's about as thick as my T42. It's got the roll cage similar to T400 (The R500 apparently does not have the same carbon-based roll cage). And overall I find the quality relatively high .. it doesn't feel like a 'budget' laptop. A friend whose company have lots of T400 can spot the differences, but my coworkers who use T400 find them look and feel similar.

I like my non-LED screen dim .. so I can't say for the LCD
