What software are you guys using? I used to use i8kfangui but I think that's only compatible with dells.

It is still in development, but alreay working quite good!

The nice thing about it, is that if you use Windows 7, you can create a gadget for your sidebar that shows the things you want (you can pick what it has to display).

Very nice, and free!

I 'm a fan of Speedfan myself.
X61 Tablet - 1.6GHz C2D, SXGA+, 1GB RAM, 100GB HD, Vista Business.

i have other laptops but i'll be honest i never use 'em

Yeah, but TPFC allows you to control fan speed :)

So does Speedfan! Now that I think about it, though, I'm just confusing Speedfan and TPFC - I do like TPFC better. Since I got my heat issues sorted, though, I've stopped using it.

Unfortunately, the last official release doesn't support the newest chipsets, and the new version is 'ready when it's ready'...
