Need part number, drive tray
Need part number, drive tray
For Intellistation M Pro: I could really use the part number for the blue plastic U-shaped hard drive sled, the one with the built-in studs that just snaps around the drive. I've been through every HMM I have for the M Pro series, and I can't find any reference to it.
Anyone?
Thanks much.

Re: Need part number, drive tray
Is it this one -
http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-Hard-Drive-Rail ... 0692733844
or this one?
http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-INTELLISTATION- ... 0609937076
If it's the latter, it looks like the PN is 00N3275, and that UK seller does ship to the US.

Re: Need part number, drive tray
Neither one, at least from what I can tell from the photographs.
The tray I currently have, though broken, is one-piece, U-shaped, and has four little rubber grommets fix-mounted in its sides, with studs poking out of said grommets to engage the holes in the drive.
It is SOMEWHAT similar in appearance to the 2LB09-01 caddy, as used in NetVista systems, although its rails are slimmer (in the vertical sense).
I believe it's the same caddy used in ThinkCentre M52's as well.
Thanks much.

Re: Need part number, drive tray
The M52 parts manual lists the part as Toolless hard drive tray. FRU# 03R0302

Re: Need part number, drive tray
for the OP: how did you resolve this? i'm looking for a couple of caddies but the prices are scary!

The caddies and single-rail inserts do basically the same function - secure the drive in the cage. Caddies snap in, rails screw on. I have used both in my M-Pros.
If you still need these, get in touch with me. I have a surplus of the rails, and can send you a few pairs.
