Connecting a thinkpad keyboard to an usb port

#1 Post by rzl » Mon Mar 07, 2011 5:14 pm

Hello!
As of subject, I'd like to connect one of my spares thinkpad keyboards to an usb port and use it as my primary keyboard for my desktop computer.

I know lenovo sells thinkpad keyboard, but they are f*cking expensive, i'm too poor to buy one of them.

Any hints about this, by the way?

It would be absolutely cool to use a *real* thinkpad keyboard everywhere.

Thank you in advance,

rzl

Buy cheapest Keybord, it will work almost that same good as TP.

It is not possible, but there is USB thinkpad keyboard even with trackpoint. But it is little expensive, in my opinion.

I just bought two external keyboards similar/same as in the above post/pic, and I got 'em for just over $50 off of ebay. Work great, too, altho I have noticed some diff in relative positioning of the Fx keys at top. Not a big deal, just something to get used to.
