I am thinking about pulling the trigger on this but unsure if this is a good deal or should i wait out the Marketplace forums here. I would be installing Windows 7 and upping the ram to 2GB. I know the HDD is notoriously slow so that would be a candidate for a Ziff-PATA adapter drive upgrade.

Price seems high to me. But I wasn't following prices for X41Ts lately. From top of my memory I think there have been better offers here in Marketplace...

I got the X61 tablet for less than that from a reliable vendor on e-bay. Their descriptions of defects and flaws is exceptionally detailed AND most of their off-lease still have warranty. I bought a T400, a T61 and the X61 tablet and they were all as described and with warranty. This vendor has been listed here under buy of the week.
