Hp pavilion dv6-3250us blue screen

#1 Post by Me2 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 6:13 pm

I have a Hp Pavilion dv6-3250US with Windows 7. I had blue screens before with this laptop but I thought it was fixed. Today there was a power outage while the computer was in sleep mode. The blue screens seem to have returned. I did install Windows 7 service pack 1 after the first blue screen. I got another blue screen though when I unplugged the RJ-45 cable and switched to wireless. I know it's not a thinkpad issue but I don't know where else to post.

1st thing I would do is test the memory....

http://www.memtest.org/download/4.20/me ... 20.iso.zip

get that, extract it, burn it with like ImgBurn, leave it in the drive and reboot to the cd... let it run thorugh a few passes.
