r50p runs only on battery; does not charge

#1 Post by ckaufman » Wed Sep 14, 2011 8:45 pm

One of my R50p s has stopped recognizing the ac adapter. It runs fine
using a battery (charged in another one) but not at all when the battery
is not present. The power input jack is not loose or damaged as far
as I can tell from the outside. Is there hope for an easy repair? Maybe
a fuse? Thanks.

Most likely a fuse.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reference. It's just what I
was hoping for.
It looks like F2 is a prime suspect. I'll open it
up and see.
