R&R question
R&R question
When I go into Rescue and Recovery, and I choose the option to create a backup to Cds/DVDs, the following description is displayed:
"Save a complete backup of your hard drive to CDs/DVDs"
Does this mean that all the data on my hard drive is also backed up onto the DVDs I make, or just the system/os?
Thanks,
T.

Re: R&R question
I'll answer my own question. Yes, the backup backs it all up (at least my version does). Today I used R&R with some password protected DVD's I had made about a month ago. It restored even my data. My pics and everything were there.

Re: R&R question
I saw your question when I was abroad and had a poor internet connection so I was unable to answer straight away. It is good to know that you found out that R&R does what it says on the tin. Some people don't like it. Each to their own, but it has worked well for me.

Re: R&R question
Thanks, Killer. But why don't some people like R&R?

Re: R&R question
@Tõnis: No idea, matey, but a lot of people seem to prefer Acronis True Image. Maybe it is better? However, R&R has always worked well for me.
