transplant x200t screen into x200 possible?

#1 Post by poderchang » Fri Oct 28, 2011 12:48 am

Hi,

I have both machines though favour the viewing angles and brightness on the x200t over the x200. Does anyone know since they are the same size, if I can swap the lcd screens?

Thanks emtee3511,

It worked. Turns out my x200T had the HV121WX4-120 inside. Was annoying to separate the screen from the touch panel but with some heat and a thin tool was able to do it. Screen is so much better. Thanks again for the link.

This might be a stupid question: but is your screen now working as a touchscreen or a normal one?
