error with wake function of T60 X1400 10.6.8

#1 Post by castled » Tue Nov 15, 2011 2:15 pm

First of all ,thanks to silencer and many other friends.

Now, my T60 is much more better without many problems, but sleep.
I use the smbios MBP2.2 from friend tcone and DSDT from master silencer .Now my T60 can use the official CPU powermanagement, and I modified the AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext\Contents\Info.plist in 10.6.8 ,by add code

Code: Select all

<key>MacBookPro2,2</key>
			<dict>
				<key>Vendor1002Device7145</key>
				<dict>
					<key>QSC</key>
					<dict>
						<key>Enabled</key>
						<integer>1</integer>
						<key>Mode</key>
						<integer>1</integer>

<key>hwPState</key>
<array>
<integer>0</integer>
<integer>0</integer>
<integer>0</integer>
<integer>1</integer>
<integer>1</integer>
<integer>1</integer>
<integer>1</integer>
<integer>1</integer>
<integer>2</integer>
</array>
<key>qscOnTime</key>
<array>
<integer>0</integer>
<integer>2240</integer>
<integer>3520</integer>
<integer>0</integer>
<integer>3680</integer>
<integer>4960</integer>
<integer>6720</integer>
<integer>9120</integer>
<integer>0</integer>
</array>

Code: Select all

					</dict>
					<key>control-id</key>
					<integer>17</integer>
					<key>max-power-state</key>
					<integer>8</integer>
				</dict>
			</dict>
those red words are copied from other MBP newer, I don't know if it's good.
and my T60 can sleep.
but I have issue when wake:

0192 system security embedded security hardware tamper detected

I killed the power, then boot from OSX

header read size 200
mem_base b4ab4200
wake kernel!

sometime, it passed this screen and entered to a screen with full green color, and it changed green more and more.
so I rapid killed the power. I had changed sleep mode from 0 ~ 7, nothing better.

I don't know what the reason it is. Are those red code I wrote before bad?

I searched google, and found http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/issues/133/ I will try it tomorrow , but I really don't know how to use those two files...
and http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=88028 , but I still worry about it maybe X1400 video card unsurpported problem.

silencer, have you solved the sleep problem? disable the safe memory or other somthing? I'm really not sure what happened.
\\\\\\sorry for my poor English

To fix this you need to go to Energy Saver preferences and check the box that says "Reboot automatically on power failure". If you don't this box, go to terminal and run this command "sudo pmset -a autorestart 1".

thanks to silencer again, I just changed the sleep mode to 3, everything goes perfect now.
