Case/Folio options for the Tablet
Just ordered the 64 tablet but after reading about the cases offered, I am not so sure what is the best. I ordered the Lenovo Folio but from the reviews some say the hard plastic holder in the folio can actually damage the tablet. Is anyone seeing this?
I would like to try the Lenvo keyboard folio but do not want to add too much bulk to the device out in the field, not evne sure if it is what I would use in the field.
Does anyone just make a simple but high quality leather folio that covers the back and opens up like a book with the cover folding behind the device to get it out of the way?
What to do

I'd like an answer to this one too.
I'm looking at:
rooCASE Ultra Slim (Black) Leather Case Cover Cover with Stand for Lenovo ThinkPad 1838
listed at 6.4 oz.
MoKo(TM) Leather Folio Case for Lenovo Thinkpad
listed at 12 oz.
Have ordered the keyboard folio but that wouldn't be in my carry around bag.

Re: Case/Folio options for the Tablet
If you don't want to add any bulk then the keyboard folio is definitely not the right choice for you.
Re: Case/Folio options for the Tablet
The keyboad folio will be in my regular carryon with wheels, the TPT and a slim cover will be in my other carryon and my round the town bag.
I'm still looking for advice on the slim variety.
Thanks,
Shofar

Looks like we are all looking for thin. Just what a thin leather cover to protect the front and back. The other two 3rd party cases look like more case that what I want.
Hope someone comes up with something.

i got one and for me, no.. no damage that i can see..greg wrote:but from the reviews some say the hard plastic holder in the folio can actually damage the tablet. Is anyone seeing this?
YMMV..
as for a thin classy leather folio, it seems the selection is very thin..
i.e. nothing out there..
it seems to me that lenovo would inspire aftermarket makers to produce some nice folios and other small accessories for the thinkpad tablet but, alas, nothing yet..
if anyone finds a nice thin folio please post info about it, here..
