Re: 0190 Critical low battery error randomly. X61S
This is most likely a battery problem, the cells of these generic battery are probably unstable. Personally i would not use the battery to prevent damage to your laptop.
Current ThinkPad: T430u, T430s, X1 Carbon, X1, X230t, X220t, X230, X220, X201t, W520, W701ds, T500, T420 and many more

I forgot to say that it happened twice only and in a cold environment, let's say 10°c... does temperature affects batteries?
Re: 0190 Critical low battery error randomly. X61S
Hi Konrad,
Most batteries are affected by temperature, with lower output when cold, though 10 degreec C isn't really that cold.
Your aftermarket battery might not be as good quality as an original battery.
I would personally be ok using the battery you have, and I would be looking for a replacement.
Good health, Weogo

Me too! That battery cannot damage your laptop electrically. The only possibility of damage is cosmetic damage from fire, which has approximately the same probability as being hit by lightning!Weogo wrote: ...I would personally be ok using the battery you have ...
