T23 hangs, if you tilt it or move the screen it comes back!!

#1 Post by otaruexwing » Fri Apr 22, 2005 5:35 pm

I have a t23 that seems to hang alot. During boot up, it stops. If I tilt the laptop to one side it resumes. Some times if I move the LCD back and forth the laptop resumes. Once Windows has booted, the same problem. It will just stop and the mouse is frozen. If I tilt it or move the sceen it comes back.

Any ideas?

Potentially could be an indicator of your harddrive failing soon? I'd definitely back everything up ASAP as a precaution.

Nothing on there to back up, I tried a different drive too. Out of all my Thinkpads I never had this problem before, just want to see if I can get some ideas before going to the HMM.
