W530 - MiniDocks

#1 Post by Sleep Machine » Tue Jun 12, 2012 12:53 pm

Just ordered a W530.

Can't determine which mini-dock to order.

Can anyone tell me the difference between models 433815U and 433835U?

Want 170 watts and USB 3.0.

Thanks.

They're both on there. Both USB 3.0, but the Plus model has a few extra ports. They are both 170w because you use the adapter supplied with the system. If you want a separate adapter, it is not included with the dock and you need to buy one separate.

Both include either the 90 or 170 ac adaptor.

Just ordered the 170W model.

It appears as if the USB 3.0 Port on the Dock Plus replaces the eSata port. Can anyone confirm? I can't find any pictures.

A few people here seem to think so too.
