Unstable Wireless

#1 Post by sikasep » Tue Jun 26, 2012 4:36 pm

Hi,

I am a new user of Thinkpad X220. I am bothered by the fact that the wifi connection on my new x220 is so unstable. It is so easily disconnected, even if the internet signal in my modem only blinking for a few seconds. Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum :)
Have you checked your wireless adapter settings?
In Device Manager, under the Power Management tab, make sure 'Allow the computer to turn this device off to save power' is not checked. Under the Advanced tab / Roaming Aggressiveness, try setting at Medium or Low.
