I've been considering buying one so looking at them on eBay. I've seen several ads that say that they have the "new" Ice Cream Sandwich OS installed, so apparently it's out.

Work- Sadly, the ThinkPads have gone away...... and replaced by HP Chromebox drone machines :(

so did mine.. took a while and when i first used it after the upgrade, there was a pop-up message about being hacked.. i rebooted and it has not come back..
and i have ESET for android running..??!! so it might have been some sort of dumb joke..

Resurrecting thread because I am confused: does this mean you can run Android 4.0 in a Tablet 2?

Tablet 2 is a completely different animal that's designed to run Windows, not Android as the original "Slate". I'm going to bet that you could hack it and run that, but why would you?
