announce date kinda

#1 Post by fjs08 » Tue Aug 07, 2012 6:58 am

First of all, why is this section under "NON-Thinkpad Lenovo hardware??
I always have a tough time finding it....
Anyway, saw this today,

http://www.slashgear.com/lenovo-thinkpa ... -06241919/

Hope they are right. This looks like a really nice notebook. Of course I'm looking at it from a totally "cool" perspective.
Are the available specs collaborating the coolness w performance?
Thx.

It's probably due to the keyboard and other non ThinkPad-like decisions (self explanatory. there's a few threads about it)

There's reviews floating in already. It might be worth reading over them

Basically sums up with an i5-3427U
The review should give you the rest
X61 Tablet 7762-WSF L7700 1.8Ghz, 2GB DDR2, 128GB Crucial M4
L412 4403-CTO i3-380M, 4GB DDR3, ATi 545v, 500GB disk
X220 Tablet 4298-X02 i5-2520M, 4GB DDR3, 120GB Intel 520
X100e 3507-A11 "Mini 10"(2010 DER one) N450, 2GB DDR2, 160GB disk, 10.1" panel with the big bezel

Nice review. Thanks.
Maybe I missed it, but I'm assuming there is no "dock" or port replicator available for easy desktop to mobile conversion??
Thx.

No dock connector. USB 3.0 might provide some options.
