Bring a book (or a Kindle), just in case...

- Your flight in daylight?

- Even so, you'll need to stick panels to the windows of your nearby passengers to get any meaningful current (just go ahead and punch some numbers).

- Get an external battery pack instead.

Cheers.

The X40/X41 series takes 16V input. Also, check the plug type.

Cheers.

I use Energizer XP18000 with my laptops.
If you adjust the power settings to save more power than usual, the external power brick itself seems to power X41T for more than 6 Hrs.
If you manage to get a good-condition 8-cell battery for your laptop, I guess your laptop will be able to stay up for a day in an airplane.

awesome thanks for the info guys!
that energize battery looks good too. i have a new 4 cell for my x40 so i may need a larger external batt to power me through this 14 hr flight!
