R61i Thinkpad Issues w/ Snow Leo

#1 Post by superorc » Sat Jul 21, 2012 1:37 pm

I have been able to install Snow Leopard on my Thinkpad R61i recently because I replaced the Intel 3965ABG Wifi card with an Apple Wifi card. I used tonymacx86 multibeast setup as it seems to work ok. I think I need to do DSDT edits to get the full use of my Thinkpad, but I have no idea where to start. The laptop doesnt reboot or shutdown, and the Intel graphics only work with graphicsenabler=no, so everything is slow. I have the 7732-2mu model R61i, does anyone else have this model with an edited DSDT or can help me out doing a proper DSDT edit?

Hi Did you manage to install Snow Leopard, When I use the tommymacx iboot and select the osx dvd it seems to boot but all i can see is the screen changing colour white/red/blue etc...

Any information you can pass on would be great.

Regards
Andrew.
