rkawakami, I've been following some of your post lately on the loose inductor at the back of the mother board. Does it affect all the T20 to T23 series? Or certain production years? Question for T23

Hey guys...I plan to upgrade my hard disk as currently its running on 60GB which is going to DIE anytime. What is the maximum capacity the T23 can swallow? Besides that, I wonder any of you using the THINKPAD utility software for this machine? Like the Battery Maximizer, etc...

Fan error...

I received a Fan Error warning during boot up of my T23. Finally......the fan died!! :lol:

Due to the rare T23 model in my country....can I get the T22 fan instead?? Will it be sufficient?

I think Pentium III-M would be pointless with tpfancontrol to manage the cooling. I think its just need some new grease as mr. Ray suggest and DITTO...the temperature hitting the 65 degrees.

Constant running fan on T23

My T23 had been acting weird after few years. The fan has been running non-stop even its not on any application. Anyone with the similar problems?? Should I disassemble the fan for some thermal?

I would suggest on T23 over the the 30's as well. The extra juice on the 30's is not worth it compared to the T23 if you are going to use it for basic purpose. However, IBM does repaired faulty T30's memory slot for FREE during those days and had since stopped. Those who get their memory slot fixed,...

You guys do know that there are PCMCIA graphics cards you can install in the machine right? Won't do much for your internal LCD, but will defineately run an external LCD or 2. PCMCIA graphic cards?
