everything is fine AFAIK, but then again i can not predict the future,
i recently picked up a really nice P1 gen 5 and would like to soften the fiscal blow a bit..
as a backup i have an X1 E gen2 and an X1 carbon gen3 which i will give to the wife person to use in place of the X1 carbon 2 with tht awful keyboard she now uses..

thus the X1 E gen1's are for sale, all are 4k touch with various SSD's, 1TB or 500 GB..

looking at ebay i see several S30's all japanese models.. in the $550+ range..

this one is a US model with the usual thinkpad satin finish..

i am not in a hurry but december is upon us..

What's the asking price for the X1E?

i took a quick look at ebay for the X1 extreme gen1 4k and found 3 so far..

i think both are at least 16gig and either 500gb SSD's but i need to boot them up and look..
make that 32gig on model 20MF..
SSD is whatever you want, 256GB, 512GB or 1 TB depending on price..

Not interested in buying it as it probably is way out of my budget - but can we have some pictures of it? I have never seen a US model S30, not even in pictures.

sure, please send me a PM with your email address or indicte your forum email address is monitored.. the S30 is an exceptional example of this model..
sort of a successor to the 701C but MUCH newer and without the folding keyboard..
