Been researching the A31, but haven't been able to find any for sale that have the "FlexView" IPS display.
The only part that really matters is the display, because I can get other upgrades (like RAM) from other places.

UPDATE: After second consideration, I am also interested in the A31p.

I live on the US east coast, and am willing to pay global shipping costs.

I think I have a spare A31p in my collection with the IPS panel, but it has a bad motherboard (they have a bit of a reputation for GPU problems). If I can find it, and if you want it, you can have it for the price of shipping.

Just an FYI...

The only IPS screen available for the A31 (not the "P" version) was in SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050).

Could be a rather rare variation to hunt down.

You would have better luck if you were willing to accept an A31p model, which also came with an IPS UXGA resolution (1600 x1200) screen, as well as an IPS SXGA+ screen.

I looked at the A31p again, and it does seem to match my criteria. I'm not sure why I previously dismissed this model. I will update the original post to include it.

I wasn't able to find my for-parts A31p when I looked tonight - just my one "good" unit that's a part of the display shelf collection. I may have scrapped it when we moved a few years ago, since that was the last time I vividly recall seeing it.

I DID find a stash of a bunch of other classic TPs which I should probably sift through and list up to give someone else a chance to love, since they're not getting much from me!

I do have at least one good, several for-parts but working (A30, A31 and A31ps) and one glorious w/ UXGA LED AFFS screen. Due to current life demands I may be willing to part with each or any of them

Do you mind giving more detailed specs? Or at least model number?

Is bumping a thing? Any other users with an A31p? I'm still looking for this.

It's going to be tough man. I was on the last one posted by manmanman before he ghosted the site like a little [censored]. I really wanted one with the secondary DVD drive 10-key. You might get lucky on ebay, the last one that came through I saw while broke so I missed out on that one.

I'm no longer looking for one right now.
