When looking at a datasheet from the TabookPdf file, and in the area at the top of the page where the specs are listed for each machine, towards the far right it says "Workhorse" , "Global" , "Entry" in bold.
Now for each model # it may have either a "W" or a "W"-"G" sometimes listed depending on which model it is.
So whats does.... Workhorse - Global - Entry..... Exactly mean, and how does it relate to the model number of a thinkpad.
Thanks

Workhorse, Global, Entry ????
Workhorse means that IBM will commit to producing that model for a set period of time. This is primarily for large companies that standardize on a model, build a custom preload and don't want to have to change models in the middle of a significant roll-out.
Global means it's sold worldwide.
Entry? Don't remember, sorry. Someone else may chime in, though.
