where do you get your replacement palm rests from?

i had a tiny crack in mine so i splashed out on a new one about a year back. the ones on ebay are far, far weaker plastic. i'm on my forth replacement now (i tend to run with the laptop in my bag, or overfill the bag which squeezes the laptop) and the newest one now has cracks in it too. its frustrating to have such a durable laptop, with a palm rest made out of cotton candy.

does anyone have any suggestions for getting a OEM strength replacement palm rest? (bonus points if its in the UK)

Get a PCMCIA slot filler such as 42X5010 / 44C0553.
That diminishes cracking of the left-side palmrest.

i have 2 USB3 ports in there. the issue is simply the terrible quality of the plastic used in the replacements you get from ebay. its essentially tissue paper.
