Is DDR3L-1600 compatible with a T500?

I really need at least 6GB of RAM in my T500, preferably 8GB. I have a few 4GB DDR3-1333 sticks that somewhat work, but are unstable and lead to crashes every now and then. Sometimes there are three crashes in an hour and other times there three crashes in a week of being on almost 24/7. Also only one can be used at a time in the lower memory slot, with a 1GB or 2GB stick in the upper slot. The sticks of RAM are perfectly fine and have worked without any errors in other computers. After doing some research, it looks like these Lenovos like Crucial (Micron) memory and can have issues with others. Basically I want to know if I can buy 2x 4GB Micron DDR3L-1600 modules. I would prefer getting these newer modules over some that would have less compatibility with newer laptops. I would also prefer buying them new rather than hunting for some old 4GB DDR3-1066 or 1333 Micron modules. Thanks.

To my knowledge, Tx00, Wx00 and Xx00 models does not support DDR3L specification (I'm purchasing RAMs for my T400 as well), however DDR3L are in general more stable than regular DDR3 at 1.5V (they need to meet strict criteria), so by getting these you'll lose nothing, though they are a bit more expensive.
But as always, check compatibility, I recall in one thread someone didn't succeed in installing DDR3L-1600 in his T500 (black screen) - though this is more about brand compatibility rather than DDR3L vs. DDR3. DDR3L-1333 should work
I will be getting Patriot Ultrabook 1.35V DDR3L-1333 for my T400, will let you know how that turned up.

Sorry I don't have a specific answer, but here is my related experience.
I have three W500's, which are really the same as T500's, except for video. They are all populated with 2X4G.
One laptop has 1.3V Crucial, purchased direct from Crucial.
The others have 1.5V Kingston.
They all work fine.

I haven't tried with DDR3L
But I'm quite sure that RAM with 1Rx8 total 8 banks DDR3 4GB will NOT work.
And since you are in China, I highly recommend you getting the RAM from New egg, 360buy.com, or amazon and there are a LOT of FAKE RAMs floating around there.
For more details about RAM plz see my post here:

RMSMajestic, I didn't see your post earlier.
Anyway, I ended up buying a 4GB stick of Micron DDR3L-1600 and it is perfectly compatible with my T500. I have no idea what settings it is running at, but it works and is stable. I'm going to pick up another stick now that I know it is good.
I didn't know anything about the 1Rx8 or 2Rx8, but luckily this was 2Rx8.
Here is the link to it on Taobao:
