Any trick to working with KYB cable that's short?

#1 Post by dwilsonfl » Sun Jan 06, 2019 10:15 pm

I was given an Acer laptop (acer model e5-571) that needed cleaning up before I could use it at school so I took the kyb off to blow the crap out and now I can't work with the kyb cable and other cables to get it back in. The main cable is the shortest I have ever seen. It's hard to get my hand in there to make the connector secure.

Ideas appreciated.

Usually you can flip the keyboard over because the cable is attached near the top. I've dealt with very short flatflex before and I can say tweezers are your best friend here.

A pic would help here.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.
