W530 color sensor issues

I've got a W530 with a color sensor and I can't get it to work. The main utility wants me to run the SensorReplacementUtility.exe, which then throws the following error:
Error 22 while reading
C:\ProgramData\X-Rite\ECCM-2\ECCM2SensorData.bat

The file is indeed missing. I can't seem to find anything online about how to restore it. I don't know if this is a Windows 10 issue or a hardware issue. I've uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times to no avail.

You are looking for ECCM2SensorData.dat (NOT bat).

Hope you can read German, as you can find your solution here: https://thinkpad-forum.de/threads/gel%C ... st-2294203

Thank you for linking that thread! It didn't come up in my English language google searches (of course) :D

I downloaded the file, put it in the right place, and now the calibration works. I do think it makes an improvement, though a minor one.

Since you need an account to download the file from that forum, I'll upload it to my website tomorrow and link it here.

(and yeah i meant .dat not .bat lol)

Ugh... my windows install corrupted itself and now after reinstalling, it don't wanna play ball.
It's thrown me multiple different errors. Doesn't detect the sensor, couldn't find entry in mapping file for monitor id: '@@@0000', and a couple others. Reinstalling doesn't seem to help. Will update when I figure it out.

Here's the sensor data file I promised: https://www.macdat.net/files/ECCM2SensorData.dat

I ended up giving up on it and used the icc profile from notebookcheck's review instead. Works well enough.
