The P1 Gen 2.

The specs are as follows: -

Nvidia Quadro T2000 with Max-Q Design
Processor: i9 vPRO 10885H - 2.4 GHz 8 cores 16 threads
RAM: 64GB Hard drive - 1tb
Win 11 pro

My old PC is a

Dell Precision 7520 Notebook, 15.6-in FHD (1920 x 1080), No Webcam, 1x Intel Core i7 Quad (i7-7820HQ) 2.90 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, No Optical, Nvidia Quadro M2200 (4 GB), Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 Professional

Okay now that all the nerdy stuff is out of the way I'm just curious what your opinions are on what differences you expect me to feel out of the box. I've had a friend put this pc together for me, with him adding the 1tb hard drive.

But I came here to learn from the professionals, I love to edit videos and I am praying I can run all of my adobe programs and maybe even learn to play with resolve as it would never run on my 7520.

I appreciate your input friends and am excited to learn from you guys.

If you're just surfing, typing up docs or consuming media, probably not much in practical terms, but using applications that can make use of the extra cores, processing power and memory, like video and photo editing can do, should offer a significant performance bump. Good luck and welcome my friend. Oh, if you could put your location in your profile so that it shows up on screen, it would be appreciated.

As ZaZ pointed out, you probably won't see much of a difference with normal use, but anything resource intensive will be quite an improvement.
