A couple of weeks ago, out of nowhere, the battery in my T410s died. It was fine the day before. Other than that, it's been working well since. Last night I tried to boot it and nothing happened. The power button is still illuminated though. I've pulled the battery and tried and nothing. Reset the RAM, nothing.
Any ideas?

Without RAM installed, does it give a beep code? This could help narrow down the problem. If there's a beep code, the motherboard still has life. If there isn't, the board's dead or another FRU is hanging it up.
Can you try it with other RAM or one stick at a time?

No beeps. Nothing. I bought another host machine off eBay today - cheaper than a motherboard. Hate it when a good machine just dies.

Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.
The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.
