Setup with New IBM Wireless Desktop

#1 Post by cinemafia » Sat Feb 03, 2007 10:47 pm

I just got a new(er) IBM wireless keyboard and mouse for my setup at home, and figured I'd take some pics. Now I just need a pair of IBM monitors, instead of Dells!

I got the keyboard and mouse, brand new in an OEM box, from this seller on eBay for a little less than $40 with shipping. There was no CD included, so I had to get the drivers and software from IBM's site of course to customize the multimedia buttons and all. But, not a big deal really and still a great price considering current wireless keyboard/mice setups go for $100 or more in the stores.

Looks like an HP 4L printer and a flatbed scanner.

Don't recognize the cans on the right in front of the Aiwa though.

Do you have the exact mouse references, I found a fr reseller for the whole pack but I would like to get the mouse without the keyboard. Is a model number written underneath?

Good pictures, too. Low light, yet you must have kept the ISO down. Did you use a tripod?
IBM T60
14,1" (1400x1050), 1,83GHz Core Duo, 64MB X1300
1GB RAM, 100GB 7200 HDD, DVD burner

See the problem is this only works as a set...yeah, I know, sounds crazy, but trust me. There's a specific way you have to 'associate' the keyboard and mouse with the wireless transciever, and try as you may, one will not work without the other.

Each of these was about a 4-second exposure, so yeah, it was on a tripod alright! :D
