Hi, it should not be a problem, I put an 80GB HDD in my T22, replacing my 20GB.

I installed a Hitachi 7K100 80GB 7200RPM HDD in my T21 and it works fine. The system BIOS and WinXP Pro recognize the full 80GB. No problem!

I've not done it, but several other members here seem to think it will work as long as its formatted NTFS. Do a search in the T2x & T3x forum for "160GB" and you see about 6 or 7 topics that talk about it.

Oki,

thanks for your experience.

My hd will not be formatted in ntfs cause it will be under Linux if all is right.
