WTB: 15" SXGA+ or UXGA Flexview screen for T60
WTB: 15" SXGA+ or UXGA Flexview screen for T60
I live in Ontario Canada, looking to buy a screen such as LP150E05-A2K1 or HV150UX1-100s for a reasonable price, without any issues such as pressure marks, dead pixels or yellowing.
I am open to buying a screen with a dim backlight as long as it's in good condition otherwise, at a cheaper price, but I'd prefer one that works out of the box if possible.

Your best bet is probably Kevin trade shop on Aliexpress, he offers a no dead pixel policy (but it might be dim/potentially yellowed). I would buy a UXGA from him because at least the HV150UX1-100 ages much better than the LP150E05-A2K1. Even the LG SXGA+ isn't terribly bright NOS (but it does look great don't get me wrong). Maybe someone on here will sell you one but I tried buying one on here a few months ago with no luck. Either way, best of luck!

Re: WTB: 15" SXGA+ or UXGA Flexview screen for T60
I didn't really want to go with Kevin trade shop since I've had a bad experience with them before. I asked for a specific model screen, they sent me the right model, but matte instead of glossy and with a huge spot on the screen. When I complained, they convinced me to cancel the dispute and said they'd resend the screen for free. I received a cheaper, worse model screen and it was still matte. I complained again and asked for my money back and they never replied. I tried to get a refund through Paypal but they forced me to pay return shipping which was half the cost of the item so I just gave up.Plunkyy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:21 pmYour best bet is probably Kevin trade shop on Aliexpress, he offers a no dead pixel policy (but it might be dim/potentially yellowed). I tried to fix the defective screen I received first, but the issue was with the LCD panel itself, it seemed to be some kind of factory reject. I think I might just sell the other screen I got and use the money to buy a better one for that laptop.
That's why I don't really feel comfortable paying more to buy from them (he costs a bit more than others plus there's no free shipping). I might just end up paying the $115 cad anyways though since all the other options seem pretty shady. At least this guy has multiple good reviews. It does seem like some of the reviews are fake though - first two reviews use some of the same exact pictures.
Re: WTB: 15" SXGA+ or UXGA Flexview screen for T60
i own three LG SGXA+ pulled out of T60 15". They're 60 miles away from at the moment. Two of them are quite yellowed, the third seemed quite decent actually, but they're all dim to my LED-spoiled eyes. I've never shipped to Canada before but if I get a hold of them and you want them you can have them for cost of shipping whatever that may be, just please no liability on me pls.
Price shipping for three LCDs out of 03824 or 03060. I'm thinking Medium Flat Rate box should hold them.
I'd otherwise highly recommend hunting down an ID Tech UXGA, pay the price, it's worth it.
edit: In case anyone wanted to buy my panels, I was locked out of my home with deadbolts and threat to trespass, so pending litigation I will be unable to ship any of my surplus parts to anyone.

Ended up buying one from him. It's so dim you can barely see it, and there's a pressure spot in the middle of the screen. Definitely gonna try to get a refund.Plunkyy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:21 pmYour best bet is probably Kevin trade shop on Aliexpress, he offers a no dead pixel policy (but it might be dim/potentially yellowed). I've got a big box full of sealed and brand new BOE Hydis HV150UX1-200 LED UXGA Flexview displays if you want to do the cable/inverter mod, as described here in the forum.

Never heard of a: HV150UX1-200.
Or did you mean: HV150UX1-100, which has CCFL backlight?
Or did you mean: HV150UX2-100, which has LED backlight?

Re: WTB: 15" SXGA+ or UXGA Flexview screen for T60
Oopsie,
they are BOE Hydis HV150UX2-100 15" LED UXGA brand new and still factory sealed. I got 10 LCDs left, still sealed.
btw: HV150UX2-100 and HV150UX2-101 are the same, it's just production batch 0 and 1.
These are the famous Flexviews with LED Backlighting, (originally for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner cockpit as far as I know) and with the famous cable mod (see here in the forum) perfectly fit into a 15" T43p/R50p/T61/T60 Frankenpad.

Hello , is there a shop or a member which sells these mods for the HV150UX2-100 15" separately . I just need the inverter + lvds cable mod as I own the LCD already and my soldering abilities are utter trash .
Much obliged.
